Many people can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are some of the emotions that can linger, even many years after traumatic events. I can help you understand these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
I am diagnosed autistic and much of my practice is focused on working with neurodivergent people. I believe strongly that, although we face challenges, we do not need to be "fixed" in any way. I will help you to embrace your authentic self.
Our intersectional identities mean I also work in a supportive and affirming way with LGBTQIA+ clients and clients living with chronic illness and health conditions. I aim to work in a culturally competent way with a broad range of clients.
One of the biggest steps in counselling is the initial decision to seek that support for yourself. I aim to make it as smooth and as clear a process as I can. The important thing to keep in mind is that you, the client, are the expert in your own life and own experience.
The garden room is a completely private and self-contained space. Appointments are timed so that you will not encounter other clients, and you will be welcomed into the space by me.
